Local business owner and proud cottage owner, Fred Helmer is a busy man this time of year as the Fall fishing season gets under way. Known as the “go to” custom tackle shop in the Fraser Valley, Fred services a number of avid anglers, near and far.

Fred’s more recent customers, cottage owners and their children have visited the shop where Fred has helped them get suited up for the year-round sport fishing in and around the Cultus Lake area.

As a cottage owner himself, Fred sees first-hand that spending time at The Cottages at Cultus Lake is the memory-making ground of childhood…and it’s moments like teaching your children how to fish that will hook you.

Wow! What a  smokin’ hot Summer it’s been here at The Cottages at Cultus Lake. The consistent warm weather welcomed all cottage owners and their company out for a fantastic Summer, full of entertaining and outdoor activities. The Cottages has never been so active and alive!
